Thiefs

I don't know about you, but I feel like I am constantly changing. I want to change, we all want to change, right? We all have this person who we would like to eventually become. For example, I like who I am, I have no problem with the person I am now. Yet, there is always this nagging in the back of my mind. When I see someone do or say something I think to myself, I like that quality. I want that quality, weather it is a funny quirk or a facial expression. Maybe it's a haircut or a pair of shoes. Whatever it is, I normally steal it. Yes, I steal. I am a dirty thief guilty of taking personality traits and mannerisms right from under people's noses. Think about it though... Just think. Aren't you a thief too? You have that best friend that you love being around, and before you know it, your laughs are alarmingly similar. Maybe you move your hands the same way when you talk. Your a thief, just admit it.
When we go around taking these things we always find a way to make it our own. That is what i find amazing. We taking these building blocks from people and we chisel them to fit into our lives, into ourselves. Yeah, we live in a society where "everyone is SOOO original" but maybe originality is just blocks arranged in new ways we havnt seen before.
Now take a look at yourself, take a look at your friends and relatives. Who do you want to be? Who is the person in the back I'd your mind that you wan to be? What pieces will you use to get you there? Whatever your answers are, you better start building.
